dealer cleaned engine and ran for 3 hours---in tank and on water--never found anything leaking---ck'd lift pump housing bolt on the back side and it was tight------

now for the wierd part-----top bolt on top front of powerhead missing---they found it wedge at the side of the block---they said it held the two halves to gether at the top--the found no loctite, sealer or nothing on the threads---reinstalled it and i guess all is ok----i did hear a rattle a couple of months ago but it was soooo intermittent i didn't worry about it---aint that some chit------anyway got 12 sparkplugs at home and going to change them out before trition gets boat next weekend----tell marty sorry for the delay but the engine dealer was backed up doing winterizations on a ton of boats so the boat will be going to dealership next weekend and they can take pictures and send them on to him---thanks for all your help in this matter

You may want to have a bit more looked at, if that bolt came out there are others that may be loose you cant see.

Do you remember what the max RPM was on your motor when we checked it with the lap top?

max rpm was 6023---they said they checked the "majority" of the rest and were tight---i was thinking about running when i get it back from triton and then before the two year warranty runs out, checking again if not sooner to see if there is anymore residue

That sounds like a good idea.
