How do they perform? What is a proper match up for a 21 xd with a 250 Merc?

I had one on mine Tyler, 21XD with 225 EFI and hit the limiter with full tank of gas two people fishing load and live wells full but 250XS has alittle higher limiter so it might work ,, good bow lift,,![]()
Basswipe has a 21XD with a 250 Pro X's,might ask him.

No use for a 3 blade on a Bullet IMHO. I've tried most popular ones and they take a ton of trim to lift the bow. They are fast on top end but notsomuch mid and low end. Just my experience. I have no doubt someone will disagree but they are beat suited for heavier hulls that run motors 3 in. below pad.

Never tried a 3 blade, but with 1.75 gears, IMO a 27 Razor 4 is hard to beat.
I second the Razor 4, Worked bravo will be more expenxive then a razor 4.

You will be all over the limiter! +1 Razor or Croxtonized bravo I, Don't try to run a Bravo that hasn't been worked you will hate it!![]()

I run a 27 tempest A45 on my 21XD with a modded 250 xb, with a sporty with 1.62 gears, I have seen 91.8mph at 6200prms. I love this blade.

They will put up numbers for sure. I have no argument there. The problem is with how much trim it takes to get bow lift and when weighted down, they die. For fishing, it's a thru hub style 4 blade for me. If I wanted to put up a big number, I'd strap on the 3 blade. Tried a ton of 'em. The 4 blade will also hold up and perform better in big waves when you catch a bit of air.

This may sound odd but one of the best 4 blades I have run is a 28 Mazco RE4 blade, awesome hole shot, great acceleration and good top end with tourney load and full tank of fuel.
I find that interesting. I was wondering how this prop would run on a Gambler.![]()
what kind of boat and motor set up do you have you are running the mazco prop on?
