What is the difference if any?

Trophy Plus (and any other Mercury Plus props), have the PVS vent system where you can change the vent plugs to fine tune your holeshot. A regular Trophy just have ventilation holes and can't be changed.

I am currently running a 26 trophy plus and need a bigger wheel. They have a 27 trophy that has been b&b and pitched to a 28 in the props for sale forum. I am thinking of buying it. What's your opinion

think it may work well.........I ran a stock 27 trophy plus a little high in RPM's on my 250xs 21xrd.........pitched up 27 may be golden.......the stocker ran well but not quite enough wheel..........it was 1.5 mph faster than my Bravo 28 though

I broke 5 trophys (2-lab finished and 3 stock plus models --sold 6th one) I now run a 27 Quad X-OB Hydromotive and like it, I also have a 26 Turbo 4 OT 4 and its a good solid prop, did find 2- cracks in Hydro but never slung a ear, had repaired by Hydro and so far no issues. They say the Bravo 1 is the prop with the PVS holes cut in. I would pass on the trophy although it was the fast prop (lab) I ran I just hate to have it bust up my motor, I got lucky since I have a hydrofoil (Bryans) and it took the hit everytime.

I ran this Trophy (it is a Trophy Plus) for 1 1/2 years with my 250 Pro XS without a whimper, then I got Jay Martin to B&B it and bump it up to a 28". It ran faster than my 28" Pro ET. I took it off and put my Bravo on so that I wouldn't take a chance of scratching it, not because the Bravo is better. Now that I've put the 300XS on the boat, the 28" is not going to be enough prop. I ran it at 1 1/2" below on my 250 and NEVER had any issues.

I think most of the guys that are breaking Trophys are trying to run them too high. I didn't even know that Trophys had an issue until I found out about it here.

sorry to be the one to make the trophy sound bad but I was telling my issues, the first lab trophy lasted 1 yr but the rest not so well, its true on the height, now that you have a 300 i'd really be carefull since its all out of the water. I hope that anyone with a T/M setup knows that the trophy is fast but MINE didn't last.

I haven't put this prop on the 300 and don't intend to. It will make someone a GREAT prop, but it's not for me any more.
