Looking to move over from Triton

I have always had Tritons but I have just sold my current boat and think I am gonna make the switch. My question is I have contacted several dealers and gotten a huge difference in prices. I priced a bare boat 21 xrd with 250 xs sport with prop just to get a baseline price with everyone and got prices from 38,000 to 47,000 I even had all the quotes faxed so I could make sure it was apples to apples. 90% of the quotes were right around 42 which still seems pretty high to me. Any input or anything both me and my partner are going to buy new ones so maybe that will give us a lil more bargaining power. Thanks

That sounds pretty average to me.

That is going to be on average, every price will be different from every dealer up front. Its the bottom line after all the add on's that makes the difference.

Sneezy posted he might be interested in selling his 09' with a 300. 45-46 with add ons and 39-40 w/o. It is a SWEET boat. Here is the link http://www.bbcboards.net...ideas.

One of them was me. I bought mine for 39k lake ready. It's an 08' left over XDC. Of course I did not know about this site before I purchased it and did not know about the sponsors (rothwell etc...)But when I found it I felt that it was a good deal so I bought it.

Evil if you bought yours for 39 out the door, tax, title, all rigged with electronics ready to fish you did very well.

I tried to buy a 07 21XDC leftover out of Oklahoma and the dealer would not come off of the 09 price so I ended up ordering the boat I have.

    Thanks Paul,

My final price would be $37,000 without all the goodies, and $45,000 loaded.

Re: Looking to move over from Triton (Sneezy Beltran)

I just got prices last week on new 21 xrd and 21rdc just boat, and trailer with recessed foot control box in front deck and deluxe dash no cleats, and windshield or on the dual console dual windshields and the lowest price was $23,000 the highest was $27,000 (but if I had called one of the "higher priced" dealers I know about- it probably would have been in the $32-$33,000 range). There are a few dealers willing to make you a deal, you just need to call all of them. One of the best priced Bullet dealers doesn't sell them any more due to other banking problems, but i could count on getting my best deal from him in the past, but i still know of a couple that are reasonable.

if the Bullet price seems high, just call your Triton dealer and get his price on a new Triton, I would bet the Triton is several thousands higher.

I would LOVE to know who price the boat/trailer your talking about at $23,000 and the only dealer that would sell the boat and trailer only for $33,000 is in Japan. Who was the Bullet dealer that doesn't sell them anymore?

    Paul

I would have to think 23,000 for boat and trailer is at cost or dam close to it!!!! Hell with the price of materials these days that may be below cost..
