I just got this jackplate cover in from Mike and wanted to share with you all. This pc is nice. Have to excuse the jackplate being dirty haven't had a chance to clean it up since installing the 300x

I was wondering if there was any FUNCTION for this item or was it all just for the look??

I have seen a simialr plate for the under part of the jackplate too and have heard it has a slight FUNCTION use (backwash when coming off plane) but then at the same time I have heard guys say that its useless.

So...."What say all you" ;)

Should I add one or both??

Mike designed these because alot of folks with the 3.0 litres add the inflatable fenders inside the plate to help level the boat when idle and just wanted to cover them up, but these things are sharp!!! He can make them in numerous different color variations. This design is going to be sold by Bullet only
