sportmaster vs rock?

yesterday while running down river i got into a shallow area and smacked the skeg on a rock.it happened after it came off plane at about 5 mph.the front side bottom edge is bent a quarter of an inch.Is this thing going to be safe enough to run at speed until i find another one to buy?I wanted to send one to titus anyways.thanks

I wouldn't, I know water feels like skipping on concrete at 60 so I would hate to find out what it feels like at 80+.

If its not to far back I think they can sweep it back. The sporty that is on my Allison is cut like that.

I talked to titus yesterday and he said no problem fixing the skeg and while it is there figured I would have do his sporty mod.Im in the process of finding another complete gearcase so that I wont have any down tme while he has it.If anyone has a 3.0 case complete with 1.62 or 1.75 they want to sell let me know.
