    Lower Unit Lube Change

    I just had all new gears,prop shaft,seals,etc, replaced in my 1989 V4.They used the green Ultra HPF in it.I've run the motor about 20 hours tops since the rebuild.Should I drain it and refill it before winter or just make sure there is no water or metal slivers in it and run it next season?

    Yes I would check it. Its cheap insurance.

    You should remove the lower drain plug to see if any water is in the case.
