    gotta give props where there due

    just recieved my duckett 7' 11" cranking rod and this thing is unbelievable, crazy light and actually makes throwing deep cranks fun, will no doubt take my cranking to a new level, if you are considering one " JUST DO IT"

    What are your favorite deep diving cranks? I throw DD22, but wish I could find a smaller bodied one that would get that deep.

    I dont throw deep cranks , I mainly throw 3-5 footers , but I mainly fish 5 ft of water !!!!

    oh it's a art? and up until now it has not been fun! but i really feel this rod has changed everything, i dont feel the bait pulling against me as bad, freaking cast a country mile which leads to getting it down deeper and keeping it there longer, rod has a nice bend and loads up nice, and at 4.09 oz for a 8ft rod??? makes throwing a big plug all day alot more comfortable

    I got one. Its a custom rod, but hard to compare cause its one with the eyes on bottom. Does that rod have em?

    hmmm, may have to try one. Plan on trying dougs rods first though

    yes all ducketts rods are micro rod's, i too have several rods with micro's and also spiral wrapped, spiral wrappped micro's is without a doubt the ultimate flipping braid rod
