Same here, I don't know if I'm just not throwing it as much as I use to or they just saw enough of them to hit them anymore.

i like the buzz biat better in stumps and open water because of the better hookups than a ribbit. The kermeys float on the duck seed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Money frog is where its at now. Better yet, the money hound. I have caught a lot of fish on those 2 this year but I have caught better fish and had a better hook up ratio with the money hounds.

Use braid and a big ass hook for the Ribbits.

Had much more luck on the buzzbait than the ribbit this year.

I haven't done any topwater fishing to speak of. It seems I wake up later on the weekends for some reason.

Yeah I messed with them for a bit, but I think they are a pain in the ass. Once I got the hooks situated I tore up the frog. I use a 5/0 twist lock hook for ribbits. That being said I prefer the hollow body frog

    Re: RIBBIT (jigginjeff)

Tried the new double hook sunday , not only is it a pain to rig it's way too heavy. Could not stop it over duck seed , would sink strait though. Waste of money.
