    Toledo Bend camp owners

BadassBullet, Toledotee, kbrance, and myself were having a glass of sweet tea and the subject of BBC camp owners came up. We were wondering how many BBC members have a camp/trailor whatever on TB and where are you located? If you would like to post we would love to know where our neighbors are. If you are hiding from the law we understand. We are guessing we have at least 6 in the Lanan area. Once we get a head count and a convenient location we may have to drag Alan, Chad, Buster, T-Matte, Robert and some of you other sisses out of your recliners. We came up with a few ideas that should work. Such as Alan(barmaid) keep drinks full and beers cold, Chad/Buster (cooks) set table/forks/knives and check with us on when we are ready to eat, T-Matte/Robert (entertainment) provide music/sing/dance and keep snacks hot(they will be under Chad/Buster supervision). This temp list still leaves us with Saint 308/Earl and I'm sure a few others for general clean up. Crazy Elvis even said he may be tempted to make it. So lets hear what ya think. TBJ

I don't have a camper on the lake and only fished it once.......I know absolutely nothing about fishing TB.

Kelly you are the perfect candidate we are looking for. We will find a place to put you up, take you out in the morning and drop you off, come back sometime during the afternoon to check on you and have you back in before bedtime.
We actually fish a little friendlier(sp) than that. We pay more attention to the get together than the fishing. Believe we would have the newbie become a tail boat and just follow a local around. I know I wouldn't have a problem with it. I have been there many years and still have a great respect for TB and SR. Once you know the bouy layout and color code it is much easier to get around. Just in the feelin out phase right now. TBJ

Kyle Alan doesn't drink, you don't think I'm gonna trust anyone else with the booze? Plus Alan doesn't look half bad in a skirt. TBJ

Well, my small 600 foot addition on the house has turned into a 1500 square foot, two story monstrosity....I have worked every day on it since the 1st of January except last Friday when I had 102 fever....and crawfish HOPEFULLY will be kicking off some damn time here.... .....basically, unless ya'll want to come for a visit, grab a hammer, and fish in the damn swimming pool that hasn't been cleaned since last August, I won't be available too much over the next few months...

The only music I heard out of Robert, I don't think we can stand.

I beg to differ. I just don't drink when I'm pulling the boat on wet, slick roads that I'm not familiar with. I had quite a few drinks Sat nite at the Mardi Gras Ball.

And my wife will testify, I don't have the legs for a dress.

Re: Toledo Bend camp owners (Chad7n7)

Chad7n7 could Alan be leading a double life ??? Whizbang party animal one night and laidback cool Dude the next ? Won't set the hook on a fish for fear of tearing something in his drinking arm ? Former Capt. of Power Drinking Team when they retired his drinking glove in '99. This man could be a ringer! Inquiring minds want to know. TBJ

I'm not sure if my Boat still floats. I still have Hunting Fever, and need to break in my new Rifle, and lay a few Hogs, Bobcat's, and Coyotes down before I can even think about fishing.

Re: Toledo Bend camp owners (Robert)

Robert all those beautiful women you have around there want a fish fry. Gettin tired of deer sausage and want something different. Gotta get back in sync with your in/out schedule. Believe we are gonna have a lot of fun at the Bend this year. Looking forward to you coming up and joining us. Gonna stick TMatte in the back of my boat so he don't have to drag the Bug all that way and can make it a lot easier drive. My yard is gonna look like a mud bog pretty soon but I've still got a front door and a great view. Stay tuned in for further developments. TBJ

Re: Toledo Bend camp owners (toledo bend jim)

Jim, sounds like a heck of a plan. Gimme a heads up when the rest of these no fishin dogs think they can find the Bend for a day or three It would be sweet if we could throw out a few dates to see what would work for all interested. That would help me since I'm a shift worker and the sorry azz work schedule runs my life.

Re: Toledo Bend camp owners (Bpstratos)

Troy sounds like a good plan but we will have to work around the Oil T,s. Gonna check with everyone and see if we can come up with a date that suits the most. Unfortunately there is always someone that will be on the other shift so we will have to have a couple so that everyone gets a shot. TBJ

Be careful what you wish for.

My Pop is supposed to start pouring the slab on the camp next week. It will be located on the north side of San Miguel. Directly across San Miguel from Wildwood. Saint.
