Okay, so the last time I had the boat out I ran out of gas. (I posted about my gauges being way off on fuel flow info last week). So i dropped her in yesterday and went to start the motor and all i got was a few sputters. so i remembered i had ran it out of gas so i went back and pumped the primer. tried again and same thing. went to prime again and the bulb was hard. tried to start it a few more times and got a few stutters. then i wasnt even getting a stutter. i took of the cowl and emptied the water/fuel seperator (removed the hose off the fitting toward the back of the boat and backed off allen screw toward front) a little gas came out and i saw a little water in it. not much came out, so i pumped the bulb a few times and got clean gas. i then attempted to loosen the fuel filter with a screwdriver and tore it up. i ended up bringing it in to a marina and a mechanic took a look at it. he replaced the filter, and purged the system of air and tried over and over to prime and start the engine to no avail. not even a sputter. he hooked up the computer and it showed no faults. they were very busy, it being memorial day weekend so i ended up leaving and fishing with the trolling motor. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this is? when i turn the key i hear the fuel pump come on so i know its not that. any help would be great. thanks alot
