OK................so i got my Coupler last night & went to Disconnect the Pipe from it and POP......that damn thing snap clean off with almsot NO effort.......came off right at the damn Manifold as well![]()
typical for these to do that once you start putting wrench to it......but I have never had one POP off right in my had like that.
OK....the Close call is that I drove all way down to Truman and back....I did my Usual "Pre-trip" inspection.....all fluid was good including the coolant.....the overflow tank had about 1-2 quarts in it......Now I knew that the coupler was "crusty" from some coolant barely seeping out......SOO......within 650 miles it went from a small seep to a Leak......that thing could have BUSTED open on me coming back home Sat night.
Moral of the story......if you See something that needs to be fixed.....FIX IT....dont wait till it jsut gets worse then do it..................I have been better than this in the past.......but ti seems that my Job position has casued me to be less crucial with my vehiclesBetter get back in the Ball Game
