Its only my opinion, we use to fish it in the fall all the time. Spring should be much better, but two days on that lake would be brutal!!!! Just don't like Hillsdale much, I am sure there are some Hillsdale fans. Use to be some really big fish in there but I just think it is on the down cycle right now.

You couldn't pay my expenses for me to come and fish that lake for one day let alone for two.

Who cares that it is on Hillsdale...it is a chance of a lifetime, membership is low, pretty much sign up your on the state team and have a shot at nationals where they treat you like a king. I did it last year at the muskogee river, had a great time well organized tourny.

I've always looked at it as everyone else is in the same boat. Tough lakes like that will definitely test your intestinal fortitude and you just have to keep at it with the things you know will work and eventually a few fish will hopefully cooperate. Whenever we've had a club tourney there it has been tough, but somebody usually catches a big fish and there are always a few limits, at least club fish anyway. Bass pass kinda opened the doors for fishing these lakes. Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Ok I take my comment back. I know two guys who know Hillsdale very very well and usually catch fish there (at least used to). Maybe I will sign up and go fish it.
