    Problem with '96 Intruder 150

Need some ideas on what might be happening. Motor is tough to start, acts like it is flooded. Anyways, sometimes takes awhile to get it started. Let it warm up and put the throttle down and it sometimes cuts completely out and the motor dies. Feels like hitting a tree in the water. Not sure whether this might be a power pack problem, or injection problem or what. Would like some ideas, before I haul it in to the dealer.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Could be one or more of the floats or needles stuck causing the flooding, the cutting out sounds like it may be a lean spit, there is a adjustable needle in the front of the carb to set the idle mixture.
