    Renegade Boats

Has anyone had any problems with these ProCraft boats around that say Renegade on the side? Seems everytime I see one of these boat on the water I have a problem with them throughout the day. They either run to close to you, cut you off on a bank or are otherwise rude and show no signs of ethics on the water.

    Re: Renegade Boats (Esnow76)

I've seen a few of those boats on the Ohio. I think guys that fish the Ohio get accustomed to fishing "close quarters" and think nothing of it when they do the same thing on bigger waters like Ky Lake/Barren/Dale and make some people angry in the process.

I've found that people's definition of ethics/courtesy varies from one body of water to the next. Maybe that's what's going on, or at least I hope so.

Re: Renegade Boats (Team do work)

Great dealership but they did have renagade on the side of some of the boats when they sold and I personally go out of the way not to fish on top of anybody. With that said there's pirates and folks on the bent rod pattern on every lake.i ran a renegade wrap year before last and there's one in the works again I've been all over this country fishing tournaments and you won't find a dealer more willing to give to the shirt off there back than renegade marine. So don't hold a couple idiots with no sense against us

    Re: Renegade Boats (Prowlerpro)

Renegade Marine is great. They did me right, i bought my boat from there, but what the man said about boats with renegade marine down the side is 85% right. They are A holes and do fish on top of people to get a check. i will fish a spot if i am there first, but the guys i have run into will fish on top of you just to get a check. They have no manners! Im not saying all, cause i know personally 2 boats that are sponsored by renegade that are great guys!!!

The bad ones are probably of the mindset that they are running a wrapped boat...so they are "pros" and you shouldn't even be on their lake!!!!!!!!!

I think you need to talk to the individuals that you have problems with instead of generalizing a group of people together. This would require you to talk to someone face to face versus bad mouthing them on a public forum with no way to defend there actions.

I got the impression that you got some sort of a discount on the boat if you let them put their logo on the side. Are these guys sponsored? I see them on Nolin all the time, never personally had a problem with them, but they do seem to be blasting up and down the lake at WOT all day.

Exactly!! I know a bunch of these guys same as Steve. Yeah there's a couple that just don't get it but you'll find that everywhere you go, with every type of boat. Saying that most or all of them are jerks is just completely ridiculous. All of them that I know are great guys and completely respectful. Just because 1 or 2 of them don't get it sure as hell doesn't make it OK the blast the rest of the them.

    Re: Renegade Boats (dpage70)

C'mon, those aren't the only guys who think they are pros

I have heard nothing but good things about Renegade Marine. I'd say they are completely not responsible for the actions of a few goofballs, however I would not want anyone ruining my company name by acting like a tool while sporting my billboard and acting like a douche.

Since the words "normal" and "reasonable" don't quite fit you, I'd say you're one of "those UK Fans"
