lower unit oil

I recently had lower unit serviced to replace some leaking o-rings and the owner said to run unit a couple times and pull plugs to check and make sure nothing was leaking. When I pulled today, the fluid was an off white color but didn't appear to have any water in it. I didn't think the fluid was this color, but wanted to ask. Any help with this would be greatly appreciate.

it shouldnt be white any shape or form brown redish and please smell the oil to see if its burnt mine locked up after i replaced lower oil 1 month ago after i smelled burnt oil when loading on trailer

That was my thought as well, it definately isn't burnt smelling, I checked for that. I will call shop on Monday and try to take it by and let him lick his calf on this one.
