    KY Lake trip

Alright fellas, I need some input. My Dad and I are in the early planning stages of making a trip to KY Lake sometime next year with some guys from our club. I would like some information on places to stay near the water that could accomodate 6-10 guys. Information such as where to avoid or you would recommend. Right now the plan is to arrive on Sunday evening and leave on Friday. Cabins are preferred. We haven't decided on what time of the year though. Maybe early spring.

    Thanks

    King Creek Resort and Marina

Have stayed here a couple of times, for less than the advertised rate (I think it was $75 last time we were there). It changed ownership just last week, so I'm not sure if the rates will change or not. They are nothing fancy, but they are clean. They have their own boat ramp and slips, and it is very convenient to get on the water. Now if you need to go to town for anything, it's a bit unhandy with the winding backroads you have to travel, but you're within 20 minutes of town and restaurants.

Haven't stayed there, but seems reasonable.

Here's a handy website with info. on most everything in the surrounding area:

It includes a good bit of info. on restaurants, fishing reports, and lots of other stuff.

We have always had good results with Sothern Komfort or Sportmans.....they were very reasonable and each had their own ramp......an slips to keep your boat in.
