    Couple Days on KY Lake

My family and I spent the last couple days at our camper on KY Lake and had a blast. Here are a few pics of the fun. I have created a monster with Anna, my 6 year old. Something about a 6 year old, a swim bait, and 4 -5 lbrs. Nothing better in the world. She loves it and is already talking about the next trip.

Nope, this one is on KY, but there is one on Barkley that looks a lot like it.

The one on Barkley isn't that high out of the water yet. Also you can tell by the closed-in boat docks it's not Barkley.

    By the way, nice pics!

i feel your pain. I did that with both my daughters since they were old enough to walk. My oldest (14 now) discovered boys a few years ago and is too cool to go fishing anymore.

My 11 y/o daughter is a complete monster, always bugging me to take her. Took her to barkley on sunday and she tore them up with a tex rigged fat albert grub. Between the 2 of us, we had probably 20-25 fish and our 4 keepers went about 15lbs with 2 over 5. She was thrilled to death. AND still hasn't let me forget that she "caught the first fish (2.5lbs) of the day"

I messed up and took her hunting with me last year. Now she wants a shotgun, a bow, and is gonna be really heartbroken when bowseason starts this year. I'll make a point to take her out during muzzleloader and rifle seasons.
