I was watching that show "Manswers" last night. They did a bit on fishing. Apparently fishing is the deadliest sport around. In 2003, 183 people died while fishing from either running over submerged objects at high speeds, drowning, or alcohol related accidents while fishing.

If that one particular boat that hangs out in conolloway buzzes me a bazillion times like he did last year then pleasure boating will become 2nd in that stat.

I poped a shaky head out of a bush last year and it came back at 400 miles an hour and hit me in the stomach. Sounded like a gunshot when it hit me. Left a welt and blood blister on my stomach the size of my thumb. Man did it hurt!

Funny you mention that.....just this weekend (right after I posted this) the guy I was fishing with hooked a nice smallie. He got it all the way to the boat and I had the net in the water when the jig popped out of the fishs' mouth and hit me right in the eye. Luckily the jig was only a 1/4 oz and I had sunglasses on. It scared the piss out of me though.
