    Best Day of Fishing Ever.

My brother and I won the Christmas for Kids Tournament out of Kuttawa, yesterday.(we won it last year too) We had 22.66lbs. Won $3000 plus $2000 more from the Skeeter Real Money program. At weigh in, they asked how many limits we caught, I said at least 10, but it was a lot more than that.

Way to go George.... No doubt you were on a ledge...we had a good day on Barkley on Sunday also with some limits real quick during the morning. What were you throwing? Did you try that big shakey head worm and paca craw combination those guys at the Cabin have been using? I threw it a few times on Sunday and nailed some fish on it.

By the way, heard there was a bad accident there in Kuttawa with a bass boat drilling a pleasure boat on Saturday...do you have any of the details?

Dave, we caught our biggest one on that rig, minus the paca craw. Most on PJ'S Lures football jigs. A couple of good ones on crankbaits. Didn't hear any details about the wreck, but saw the aftermath. The side of the skiboat was really ripped up. Saw them put one person on a stretcher and put him in the ambulance.

Thanks for the info George....I was on Barkley today but we did not throw that rig...but they were eating dragged jigs and C-rigged brush hogs up.

Dave, we were in the bay about 200 yards from the accident when it happened. It sounded like a cannon going off. I was scared to death that a kid on a seadoo had been hit but Thank GOD he didn't. The only person hurt was Larry Lynch from Eddyville. He was the driver of the Triton Bass boat. We got to it in time to help a man on a jet ski get Mr. Lynch on the back deck of his boat. The trolling motor was gone, the lower unit was laying in the floor of the other boat & all the electronics in the bow were ripped out. I think he lost all his rod & reels. It was a mess. We just grabbed his boat & used mine to idle him to the ramp for the ambulance. He was complaining of back pain & I think his arm was broke. He had a automatic PFD on & it deployed & was holding his head out of the water just like it designed to do. I give credit to the man on the jet ski , he never hesitated, he jumped off & swam to Mr. Lynch to get him out of the water. Mr. Lynch is a very lucky man. I still don't know what caused it to happen.
