I would never post this in the lounge, and they are a board sponsor so I don't want to screw them at all. But, for me it is over. This is my sixth one and this one was also on a hookset.
I knew you'd not been having good luck with them. Isn't the exchange price high too?

Might as well buy a new one. Actually, it is slightly cheaper, but not much once you have shipped your rod and paid for shipping back. You've spent $100 to warranty $100 rod.
That's a bummer. Good thing I don't buy expensive rods!![]()

mike there is a bait shop here that has all star classics on sale for $49 bucks and have a butt load of them if you are interested let me now i will pick some up for ya !! i will be in louisville next month i need to get with you and get some of your lights
Mike I broke my Gloomis dropshot rod 3 times already and its $50 every time. I'm ready to trade it for a St.Croix.
Hey Todd, howz it going. You still in Alabama? I can get the All Star Classics at Academy for $49 also. I have 4 but they are not nearly as sensitive as the B & R's were. But they don't break.
I may have some pretty cool new lights coming, we will see what you need and hook you up.
sounds good !! if money isnt really a big thing the kistler magnesium rods are a great rod this is what i am using plus the outlaws only broken one but have problems with the guides all the time
That is the problem. Brad and I have replaced four tip guides in the last month on these rods, then this. Money used to not be an object, but I am not raking in the big tournament winnings like I used toI am trying to save what I can actually, so the All Stars sound pretty good.
To their credit, I emailed Rob an hour ago and I already have a response from him. They have apparently improved 100% IN THE COMMUNICATION DEPT.

Mike,
I haven't broken a rod in years. Of corse I crank bait more than most. I really like the exsox rods. I have 4 of them, but they are very expensive.
