Nice fish! You catch any smallies on jerkbaits? I hear they are hitting them pretty good down there now.

Caught nearly everything on trick worms. Sight fished most of them including the Smallies. Fish on beds all over with water temps 64-67.

You talking about largemouth on beds or smallies? I'm assuming you mean lm but it sure seems early for that. Been really warm this spring but it's going to be different in a week according to the weather.

Actually we found both on beds. Mainly LM but a few SM on beds also. Saw one pair of Smallies actively spawning as well as several LM pairs.

Hey guys -- Jeff's (bassRN) too modest...he caught almost 30 of the 40 we put in the boat..... Jeff can catch fish put of a puddle of water..... I keep telling him he ought to give up his day job (well night job in his case) and just take up guiding across the H20 here in Middle and Eastern Tennessee..... Had a great day on DH and that is one beautiful lake...... We are all so lucky to live close enough that we can enjoy such a great fishery...tight lines......

Re: Good day on Dale Hollow (Dover)

I was down DH 3-24 thru 3-28. The fish were on fire the last few days we were down there. We were flipping jerk baits in the back of coves near down tree's and buck brush. You could see most of the fish come out and nail the jerkbait. Mixed bag of largemouth, smallmouth and spots. Once we figured out where they were it was just crazy as far back as you could get in a creek and bam a nice largemouth next cast bam a nice smally. Those smallies hit twice as had as the largmouth . I had planned to go over to Center Hill on Tuesday but the fishing was just ON at DH. Thanks to Dover for giving some info on Center Hill Joe I will keep it for this fall or maybe next year to try and tag some huge spots.
