The Pointe at Western Shores - Kentucky Lake

Anyone know much about the lot sales going on at an area near Murray called The Pointe at Western Shores? I'm not familiar with that part of Kentucky Lake, and was curious as to the exact location, and the general lay of the lake there.

Some nice lots there for sure. Not real convenient to get there. The lots lay in between Paradise resort and Anderson Creek. 2 acre lots off the water with a boat slip are $39,000. Waterfront lots run up all the way to a cool million for the point there on Anderson Creek.

Thanks for the feedback. I was not familiar with that area, and after reading your post, I now go back and read the 'propaganda' I received on this area. I knew there was a catch.....it tries to entice you to come check it out without telling you how much the lakefront lots are going for. That's a long drive for me only to be mad at their tactics! Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Yeh they show a picture of waterfront property but don't tell you the $39,000 is not on the water.

If you are looking for waterfront property on Ky Lake expect to start off around $350,000 with a house on it of course. Several houses for sale in the 1/2 Million range!!!

That's what I would have expected....I figured waterfront wasn't $39k, but was wondering exactly what they were playing with. I'll wait for my retirement plan (a.k.a., the lottery) to kick in before I look at any property for real!

All the phase 1 waterfront lots have been sold. Lowest price $300K and these weren't even the best lots.

Um, yeah, I think I'll take TWO of them. Maybe three so nobody gets too close!
