    Bearing Questions

Had the situation with one side seeming tighter than the other. This is with new bearings. I noticed when trailer was on blocks and I spun the tires. Towed 4 miles back to the mechanic and it seemed better. Took on one fishing trip and seems to spin ok, but now i can hear the bearings when I spin the tire. Whats the deal? Thanks for your help.

    Re: Bearing Questions (usabassin)

I would take them apart and look at it. May not have used the rite grease or not enough grease, may have one not centered when it was tightened, used an old race, over tightened one side, or may just be a bad bearing. No way to know untile you get int here and look. Also look at the cap or bearing buddie and make sure it isn't rubbing on the nut/cotter key.

    Re: Bearing Questions (Kevin R.)

I will probably call the mechanic and see if he will take a look at it this week.
