    bow safety tiedown

Any ideas on a bow safety strap to be used in conjunction with the tow strap? I've goggled and looked at the results, but thought I'd ask the bbc members. I'm leaning towards chain and an "S" hook. I'd prefer a vinyl coated cable, but can't find one anywhere. Ideas?

    Thanks, FishnFed

A stainless turn-buckle to a ring on the trailer.

Here is what I did. It keeps my bow from jumping up & down and it's easier than messing with a turnbuckle. I got mine from etrailer.com. Here is the link.

I bought this from West Marine.

I dont really like the buckle, but it works for my boat. Then again, my boat/motor weighs less than 1500lbs.

Mine came with a short strap just like the regular one. It hooks to the winch stand separately.
