I'm gitting ready to do mine. Just make them and when you go to the lake, swap them out. I have seen them doit at the shop. they make them up then jack the boat up and slip them in.

I just did one on my nitro trailer. I bought a couple of treated 2x4's and some marine carpet at BPS. I jacked up the back of the boat and removed the bad board. Cut and stapled the carpet to the new board and put it on. Easy fix.
