    How to clean a deer

Last night, a friend of mine hit a deer with her blazer and killed it, she called a couple guys, and we came over, and brought it to the house. The one problem, no one could clean it. I know how to feild dress it, but that didn't help us. We called a buddy's house, but he couldn't come until late the next day, and with the sudden warm up of Illinois, it wasn't gonna last. Is there a certain way to do it(I know it wll be hard to explain and that practice makes perfect) where we can save some of the meat, and not let it all go to waste? we ended up dumping it on a buddies field, he wanted it for the coyotes. Any help appreciated.

This is an excellent video. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to process their own deer. The host is a friend of mine too.

that video he put up is a good one. everyone has their own technique, some butchers also like it different and some will only take it certain ways.
