My buddie gave me a lower unit off of an xp 150. My motor is a j150plees. I thought I had a bent propshaft, on my motor, but I think, its just prop "play". I can grab the prop while its on the shaft and can move the prop, and or move it from side to side. Is their something im missing, as far as maybe an xtra thrust washer or something? Am I supposed to be able to grab the prop and move it from side to side? Also, will the lower unit off my buddies motor fit my j150plees? The only differences that I can see between the xp lower unit and mine is the skeg is shaped a little different and the water intakes have four holes, and my water intakes are square on both sides. The prop that is on the j150plees is a turbo txp. Any ideas?
