Is there a reason why i dont get my instant messages anymore without having to go to "MY PROFILE" and having to see them at instant message history ??? I have it set to accept all instant messages, but i dont get them when i sign on or while i'm visiting pages without having to go look for them the way i explained ?? Any help would be appreciated. You must have some kind of popup blocker turned on.........you need to turn it off when you're on BBC. The IM's are the only popups that you'll see on here.
Would it affect all my instant messages from any site, or just this one, because i get them on yahoo and aol ?? Thanks for helping AL.... I LOVE THIS SITE !! Always so helpful
Ok I give up. I've turned off my pop up blocker and still can't find my IM's. Any suggestions?
Are you using any other toolbars with your internet browser.yahoo,Google,MSN etc.They all have pop-up blockers in them that need to be turned off for BassBoatCentral.To manually check for Instant messages go to "My profile" at the top right of the page and check under instant message history to get your most recent ones.
I did have the pop blocker on. Now I have it.

I really wish that the IM's were <U>NOT limited to 700 characters!!!</U>
It wouldn't be as bad if member's email addys weren't hidden as a default.
Sometimes in order to get info accross it takes some space...
AARGGHH!
Those are my only 2 gripes though - otherwise I LOVE this board.
Just a thought but if a person needs to send an email why not just send an IM to the person and say "Whats your email address" ?
