A while back I was having problems like a lot were with my motor having issues accelerating when it was hot and not ran for a while. I followed the instructions on the throttle arm and made sure the gas was clean, and that solved the issue. Lately however I have noticed that when I put it in reverse, it almost sounds like it is barely running. This is really prevalent first thing in the morning and the boat will die a few times before I can baby it off the trailer. I almost ran into a dock as when I was pulling up and put it in reverse it did die on me. Luckily I don't come up to docks quick and was able to hold it off. It runs great in forward and sounds like a totally different motor when shifted from reverse to forward. Am I looking a throttle linkage in reverse needing adjusting or what should I look for. I did have all the carb bowls replaced this spring and had them adjust the shift linkage, but had to re-adjust it myself as they had at that time totally taken out reverse. Thanks for all the help so far from this board.
