    Quick and easy jerky

I've got a NESCO dehydrator from Wally world (about $20) works great. Anyhow, get some KC Masterpiece 30 minute marinade (Carribean Jerk) while you're there along with a bottle of crushed red peppers.

Cut your meat into strips (I use deer steaks) - Last buck I got was a little tough so this works perfectly.

Put all cut meat, container of marinade and about 4 tablespoons of the peppers (more for hotter jerky) into a large container, stir well and let sit in fridge for about 2-3 hours.

Then just lay the strips on the racks and when finished, spoon leftover sauce over the meat.

I use an indoor timer, and set it for about 8 1/2 hours.......and let it run overnight. When you wake, it'll be done!!

I've made TONS of this jerky for years now and everyone absolutely LOVES it!! The carribean jerk marinade gives the meat that sweet, but spicy taste and the peppers gives it the HEAT!!!!

Try it, I guarantee you'll love it!

Re: Quick and easy jerky (Masterbaiter)

I make a couple of different flavors of jerky I like to make with Top Round Sirloin or London Broil

    1. Franks Hot Sauce (Add Hot Peppers if desired)

    2. Old Bay and Vineger

I marinade it for about 24 hours in a ziplock baggie. Flip it every few hours or when your wife gets you a new beer whichever comes first....
