    NEW ROD WRAP

Recently the tennis wrap called WHAT A GRIP has appeared...it sure works well for me...about $2.50 each...no crank or spinnerbait rod should be without one...3-4 colors...mine have been used a month so can't report lifespan yet... no glue mess or wrap rolling up with this...so far I like.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

I just switched from rod wraps to shrink tubing. It is a lot easier to clean.

Where do you find shrink tubing large enough to fit around a rod handle? I like the idea but have not been able to find such a product.

Has anyone used the 3M Vetrap? I have a dear friend who is a Vet and I was just thinking, Maybe if someone has tried it and like it--I would raid his office and BORROW some.

I like the tennis racket wrap. Colors are limited but 3 rod wraps for $2.50 is hard to beat.

Where did you get the Vet wraps from? That's what I've been looking for! I found a roll of camo wrap similar to the vet wrap. I can't find anymore of the camo color though. I've had it on my rods for over a year now and it's held up great. I had originally just wrapped the handles because I thought it looked cool. Come to find out, while fishing in the rain, the cloth texture of the wrap really helps with grip. Cork when wet, is quite slippery but with the wrap, not at all.
