    Senko Tip

Now that we are into the "dog days" of summer and everyone always complains how Senko's rip so easy, try this: Throw a couple bags of the colors you use the most in your cooler right alongside the cold drinks. They will thread onto the hook a lot easier and rip a lot less. Also, make sure your hook is wet before you thread them on.

    Re: Senko Tip (TOXIC)

I did that for a while, but one day I accidentally got my (color 909) Senkos mixed up with my french fries I had in the cooler, and the next thing I know, I'm out of bait, but have a severe case of indigestion.

So tip #2 - If you're gonna store Senko's in the cooler, mark which plastic baggie has your food in it, and which one has your lures in it.

    Good tip Scott!

    All the best,
    Glenn

Only you Glenn!! You'd be surprized how many leave the bags on the deck and they get like jelly. Even putting them in you pocket is a better solution than leaving them on the deck.

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

    Re: Senko Tip (fishing02)

I ain't givin no more advise on a senko (rigging and fishing) since I made that mistake once. And you'll never see me post nuthin about being pro-staff with them It was like pee wee football, one guy tackled me and then there was a dogpile!! My tip above was also just if you are Texas rigging them on a EWG wide gap hook. Wack rigging it isn't as important, especially if you use the -o- rings.

French fries are cheaper to eat, but I'll bet the senkos have more nutritional value.

    Re: Senko Tip (MFD911)

Good Tip! I will remember that. Love fishin a senko - amongst other things.....so this will come in handy.

I have a friend that makes a wacky rigging tool for the purpose of saving the senko/worm too.

If you'd be interested - just let me know.
