    Never lose your license

Don't know if this has been posted before, if so, sorry. In IA and I'm sure other states you can get all your hunting and fishing tags online which is handy, you print them out on your home printer. What I've done is print a couple extra copies, one for the boat and one in the truck as well as the one in my wallet. Now wherever I fish I should always have my license within arms reach even if I left my wallet at home.

Re: Never lose your license (Hawkeye)

    thats a good tip.

Here, in VA, our license is paper.

Now that you put this tip up, it makes me think that all I have to do is have the paper license photo copied (to have extras.

    thanks

Phil, if you buy your VA liscense online, you can print as many copies as you wish.

    Greg.

I'll give that a try next year.

Since I already have bought mine this year, the tip brings to mind that I can just photo copy, in order to have extras.
For some reason, neither option ever occured to me.. ... until I read this tip.

    Thanks...but too late..

As much fun and as backwards people say that Mississippi is at least our wonderful Game & Fish came up with the idea several years ago to make our Sportsman License a credit card type license. Renew in the mail or on the net. Great idea.

I should have specified, in IA you get your general license on the web but for deer and turkey tags they get mailed to you.

I laminate mine also in case I get wet. The inkjet printer ink smears when it gets wet.
