Carpet Stain Remover

Went to Lowe's today with the wife. She was looking at carpet, I was goofing around in the nearby aisles. I found this stuff that said "carpet stain remover". Well I have a spot under my steering wheel where I dripped some hydraulic steering fluid and a spot on my back deck where some road tar slung up on it. The tar I tried to remove with WD40 and some BBS. I got most if the tar, but could still see a little residue. I bought a bottle. Took it home and sprayed on each stain. No kiddin', it took out both spots !! The stuff is called "Folex". They have a web site. I have no interest in the company or product, what so ever. It worked for me, and I just wanted to share it with you guys. Might save some carpet replacement. I have been that route, too, and that is no fun.

Best thing yet is Dawn dishwashing liquid. Just brush it in and let it set for 10-15 min then rinse it out. Out comes that nasty oil stain and also removes stains caused from attractants. I clean my carpet with a product from Lowes called Krud Kutter. Use a stiff brush, and when it's almost dry, brush it against the grain and then let it dry all the way. Looks just like new again !!
