I am getting my Bluewaters in a few days and debating on whether to run them in series or parallel. Both ways seem to have pros and cons. How did you do yours?
I am getting my Bluewaters in a few days and debating on whether to run them in series or parallel. Both ways seem to have pros and cons. How did you do yours?

I would think that if you run them series your voltage will be divided between each light thus making them not as bright. In parallel, they would be brighter.

parallel would prevent lights from going out if one of your other branches was damaged or "opened" That way the rest of them would continue to work with the exception to the parallel branch that is malfunctioning. And since the voltage is common along the parallel branches.. the leds will be brighter, but if you ran them in series I would doubt there would be enough voltage drop to cause a led to not be "bright"
