    96 evinrude intruder 115

I've noticed on my motor next to the throttle roller timing arm that there is an adjustable "switch". One side says "High" and the other "Low". I have inadvertently moved these a couple of times and I'm curious as to what exactly they adjust. The last time I had the boat out it didn't seem to have the same hole shot it used to and I'm wondering if this might have had anything to do with that.

    Thanks

They affect the idle and high speed timing. Your best bet would be to move both marks to the center of the timing arm.

By center of the timing arm, do you mean lined up where the high and low "pieces" are directly across from one another?

    Thanks

Must ( highly recommended)use a OMC ignition analyzer box to set the timing on this motor including sync and link at the same time. Beauty of this motor, this is done with the motor not running. This procedure is in the first part of a JOHNSON/EVINRUDE serv.. man.
