    1990 Bayliner Cobra model 1903

I am restoring a 1990 model 1903, Bayliner Cobra bass boat. I am looking for a lot of parts and any help I can get. Things I am looking for:
    1. passenger seats (4)
    2. windshield
    3. gauges (us marine) not in business
    4. carpet.
    5. repower with 150hp merc. (the boat is black)
There is other stuff but thats what I can think of now.
Does anyone have one or know about the boat? I am interested in how fast the boat goes. it is almost 1900 lbs.

Bayliner Cobras were entry level boats that were built not using the best materials so You'll want to check the transom/floors and stringers real careful.
Almost all came from the Factory with Force 2 strokes, either a 120 or 150 Horse. Simple , non oil injected outboards that are no longer made.
Originally were Chrysler outboards but later years were owned by Merc.
Bayliner did not make a true bass boat, they just took their runabout line and added plywood decks and a plastic livewell. The carpet was fairly thin and a lot of the wood was not resin coated so the deck floors tended to rot out fairly quick.
The hulls were resin rich and heavy, not a lot of lift , you may see 45-50 with a 150 Merc on it

This place may be able to get you the windshields :

Thanks for the info. Whats the good news? For $800 I figured I could not go wrong. The trolling motor and color GPS were worth more, so if the boat sank I couldn't lose. It does need some work but it floats. The passenger seats however are missing any idea where to get those. Also the center console needs new gauges. It looks like most of the boat was equipted by US Marine. They are out of business. I will visit the sites you suggested.

On a boat that old you're just going to have to be resourceful on seats. Check out a few marine seat stores, one of which is a sponsor here and see if you can make something work. As for the gauges, any gauge will work as long as they are for your motor model.

You're not going to find any bayliner specific seats/parts, you're just going to have to look around and be resourceful. They're pretty standard for the marine market anyway. Carpet goes for the same.
