I am planning on using Marine carpet glue when I put the new carpet down on the decks and cockpit area but what would be the best for the hatches???
Carpet glue or contact cement????
Any ideas appreciated!!!

On mine I used the carpet glue on the hatch tops. When they dried I fitted the sides with contact cement and clamped.
The Weldwood gel contact cement is some good stuff.![]()

I used all contact cement, dries quicker and tight hold. Personal choice I guess.
