    Restoring 89 19' Bullet

I am neck deep in a complete gutting and restoration of a 89 Bullet. Here is my question to the board, if you had the time, ability, and the means, would you completely fabricate the cap of a boat. I am disabled through a job injury and have nothing but time, I hate being stuck in the house, I restored cars and boats for several years. I think it would be a cool project. I have already replaced the transom, stringers, and flooring, I sat the cap back on the boat but I really am not satisfied with the layout. Thanks for any input!!

First off welcome to the BBC.

That's the fun part about doing restorations changing things to your liking is what it is all about. I think it would be fun to change a top cap around Do you have any pics of the work you have done so far WE would love to see them.

I will have to take some pics and upload, actually been here for about a year scamming the post and getting ideas. Didn't you restore a BassCat? If it's the one I am thinking about, yellow, white, and black, that thing turned out unreal!!!!
