Pics of my carpet install.......
Pulled the carpet from the lids........

The lids all looked like this....

Some Laquer Thinner and a scraper

I didn't get many pics inbetween.....sorry

Finished with the carpet. The carpet job took me about 1 week to do. I was only getting 2-3 hours per night to work on it. Foot tray is next.

First, I had to lay out the template that comes with the tray. I went with the Pro Control. Thanks Mark Miller!
I made sure that there wasn't any kind of bracing underneath.
[IMG][/IMG]
Then I made my mark with a sharpie
[IMG][/IMG]
Then I took my utility knife and cut the carpet on my lines
[IMG][/IMG]
Here is what it looked like underneath. I glued that carpet down really, really, really well
[IMG][/IMG]
I drilled a hole at each corner with my cordless drill. I made the holes big enough to get my sawzall blade in it and pulled the trigger. Make sure you use a sharp blade and take your time.

Test fit. I cut the hole a bit small at first and then I just had to do a little trim work to make it fit just right.
[IMG][/IMG]
Wife wasn't home so I got out the Dyson and cleaned up the carpet. I installed the hose on the try and got my 1/8" drill bit ready for the pilot holes

Finished product. It took me all of 50 minutes to complete the tray install by myself.
