    192 Procraft

I have an 04 Procraft 192 Running a 2010 200 Pro XS. I have been running a 25 Trophy plus 6" manual jackplate Proshaft 3" below pad. I normally run in the 63-65 mph loaded range at wot turning 5450 -5500 rpm. Plenty of bow lift. I tried a 25 Fury yesterday: same height on jp I was hitting rev limiter (5750) if not careful and best I could get was 60 mph. Didn't seem to be getting bow lift like I do with Trophy. I was hoping for more RPM tith the 3 blade and more speed but all I got was more RPM and less speed Any suggestions

My understanding of the Fury prop is that it likes to run deeper. Lower your motor a 1/2" and see what happens.

Have you tried a 26 tempest? tempest gives my ProCraft a lot of lift...more than my trophy 25. (Trophy lifts the whole boat, Tempest lifts the bow)

Drop it down 1/2" and run it again. You may have to lower it more if you still gain rpms and loose speed and bow lift. You may not get the rpms you want. Fury's turn stiffer so a 25" fury will turn like a 26" tempest.
