Matt and I fished for about four hours from first light. Water temp was 83 in the discharge channel and 77 at the Konawa City ramp. The water level is normal but appeared to be more stained than normal. No luck with spinnerbait or crankbait. Caught two nice fish off the rip rap near the south boat ramp in about 9 feet of water on a Watermelon/Chart tube. The boat that was already in the discharge channel when we got there was catching fish on a Carolina rigged dark colored french fry.

The gate area on the dam is now none accessible as a result of a huge floating buoy line that OG&E has installed. I am wondering if they will also install the same sort of equipment to keep people from crossing over the old buoy line on the south end.
