HO 200 problem! I NEED SOME ADVICE!

I have 2003 HO 200 hp that acts as if it is runing out of fuel after it runs about 1 to 2 minutes at full throttle. I am at wits ends about this motor. There have been no alarms and no codes showing that there is a problem. I have had a mechanic replace the fuel bulb, put a new fuel rail on, replace the battery, check the fuel water seperator and it continues to die after running about 1 to 2 minutes at full throttle, after a fuel rail was replaced it ran as well as it has ever ran a week ago, but this morning it it did it again and would not start. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like a fuel restriction to me. Checked the anti-syphon valves?? May need to hook a piece of clear line @ the engine with a vacumn gauge tee'd in and look for high vacumn or air bubbles.

+1 on the anti-siphon valve in the fuel tank. If you have access to a portable tank you can hook it up to the engine and determine where the problem is.

How do I or can I manually check the anti-siphon valve?

Most people just knock the ball out of it! I would try that and if it solves the problem then you can leave it that way or install a new valve.

The next time it stops, try priming the bulb again and see if it will run for another couple of minutes. Mine did this and it was the fuel/oil pump. Just something to try.
