hey everyone
i took my boat out it has a johnson 1999 90hp (model # J90PLEEB) this weekend. it has a bad miss in it. last summer i unhooked the vro. it would idle rough. but now it has a real bad miss in it. should i hook my vro back up or does anyone have any ideas what it could be. i took the plus out and thet are brown and dry with no oil build up on them. i mix my oil at 50 to 1 thanks
did it idle rough before you unhooked the vro,or was they another reason for unhooking it

it ran fine. it didn't start to run rough until about 5 months after i unhooked it. i unhooked it in last summer (august) and it started to run rough just last month. it started with a little miss. i changed plugs and put fresh gas in the tank. but now the miss is getting worse. i unhooked vro because i went to premix. im thinking about hooking it back up
i was working on my motor today a found some of my plugwires had some cuts in then where they have been rubbed. going to change them all out and see if that helps. can i just go to the auto parts store and get some plugwires or do they have to be a special kind? thanks
