We got Four today. One was just under 4lbs and the other two ish took big fish honors but Russ should be proud of his fish too. Three on jigs and one on Fluke. Windy and brisk. Nice day, always fun to fish with Russ.

I had to work all weekend. Besides the wind it sounds like you had a nice day

The new state ramp is very nice. Twin ramps, good parking, porta-potties, your good to go. Here are the directions from NH Fish & Game website:

The new Winnisquam Boat Access Site off Water Street in Laconia is now open. Directions: From Route 93, take Exit 20 (Route 11A/3) toward Belmont/Laconia. Travel 7.3 miles on Route 3, through Laconia, and make a left onto Fair Street (Aubuchon Hardware will be on your right). Cross the river, make a left onto Water Street and follow the signs. The site includes a 41 parking spaces, a staging area, double boat ramps, permanent floating dock and timber wharfs for temporary tie-up.

No draw down in Winisquam yet. Caught a 3 lb smallie on a spinner on second cast and then spent the next 3 hours trying to get another one. Wind and waves were lot's of fun. It was 65 in Beverly when I left and 45 when I launched. Wind started out steady and built all morning. It was still nice to get out one last time. Boat getting winterized now, will go into storage on Monday.
