Saw the ETEC infomercial this morning. Very informative and interesting. If that motor does everything they say, and holds up, it will be awesome. It should last the regular bass club boat owner for as long as they want to use it and then have something valuable to trade in.
I haven't seen that yet but, Have you seen the DVD they sent the techs?

I have some goofy cable company around here it was in one of the higher numbered channels. It was on at 6:00 AM.
No Rusty I did not see the DVD. It had a little test where they stuck some straw type thing with a glass jar on it, into the exhaust opening and checked emmisions.
They also had a 3 way race with a Verado and a yamaha, being filmed by a helicopter. Overall it was very interesting. It just seemed odd, an Infomercial for an outboard
They are sending out DVD versions of the 28 minute infomercial to dealers. You can view it at a dealership, or if you are on good terms, perhaps you can borrow it for an evening. If you have a DVD burner on your computer...
Ask Rusty in 2 days what he thinks of it.

Wait until you see the DVD that will go to the techs, showing a customer signing the new boat deal, then the dealer kicks him in the balls instead of shaking his hand. The next scene is at the service dept. where a greasey mechanic says that his boat is almost ready and then kicks the customer in the balls. The final scene shows the "sore" customer going to an E-TEC dealer and saying he's tired of the pain of owning a 4 stroke!!!!!!
