I am not Rusty and maybe should not butt in.
However, I use 24 -27 N-m or 17.5 - 20.5 ft. lbs. if your ft. lb wrench don't read this low and you have an inch lb. wrench. You can convert the ft. pounds into inch pounds and use the inch pound wrench.
Most of these guys around here are going to tell you just hump't tight.![]()
If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

I think I remember SeaHorse saying 22 ft lbs No More!!!
Mike,
That 22 ft. lbs. spark plug torque ONLY applies to the FICHT and E-TEC motors.
18-20 for regular plugs with the 1/2" of thread length (All Champion plugs with an " L " in them)

I do it by feel not by a torque wrench, over the years you get the feel for plugs. Too much on the torque wrench and voila Heli-coil time. Seat the plug and about 1/8th turn after (if that much). CM![]()

It's a lot easier and more accurate if you tighten them to 1/4 turn before they strip the threads.![]()
