    Butler Chain Report

We'll, we headed out to the Buter Chain this past thursday mornin.. The bright spots were gettin to meet and fish with fellow BBC member BassBoy, and Walts son Jason.. The fishin... well, that was just so, so.. We did put 3 in the boat, but we had to work for em.. After a string of warm days, and expecting the cold front to move in today, we were expecting to do pretty good.. But the fish just werent cooperating.. We tried points, flats, holes, coves the whole nine yards lookin for em but never stumbled onto what they wanted.. The 3 that were caught were with soft plastics, in natural colors, fished slow.. We found some great spots to try once the spawn kicks in, but for now they remain a mystery.. Was a fun day though, and lookin forward to fishin with Chris (BassBoy) again sometime soon! Will let you guys know how we did, the next time we go..
