    Some old and new baits

    Tell me what you think guys. Some tips are welcomed too.

    Baby Striper

    My first attempt at a bluegill

    Metallic Craw

    Not too shabby! What are you clearcoating with? If your using D2T try heating the <U>bait</U> a little with a blowdryer before you coat it. This will allow it to spread much easier and pop all the bubble's created by mixing. I'll also hit the bait with it one more time real quick after I have it coverd to pop any bubble's I missed. Hope this tip helps...

    i'm using a two-part epoxy like D2T. I'm actually going to have to move my epoxy station inside. It is way to hot in the garage for that. my epoxy was drying before i could get it on the bait!

    Man, Im in central florida and at 95+ temp's I had the same problem. If it's drying too fast for you just add a <U>drop</U> of acetone to it! Just a drop. If you add too much it will get way too thinned out and you can't use it. add the drop after you mix for a sec. It should stay thin a little longer. Depending on how much you mixed you may need 2 drops just play around with it, you'll get it.

    Thanks man. i didn't know you could thin that stuff. i will definately give that a try.
